Factory Burning |
Pedaling Forward works closely with many bicycle and bicycle component manufacturers based in Taiwan.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the overseas Taiwanese and their families in Vietnam who have become targets by rioting mobs for the past few days.
The bicycle industry has been especially hard hit as many bicycle manufacturing; owned and operated by Taiwanese expatriates, have come under attack and burned to the ground during the riots.
We are praying for the safety of all those working and living abroad in Vietnam, and safe return of all expatriates there.

There is also a facebook page for Taiwanese expatriates to post about the ongoing crisis in Vietnam: 513越南排華最新情況
The facebook page is in Mandarin Chinese, but pretty sure there is a translation function to help understand what is going on.
god bless and hope everything settles down in Vietnam.
